About Isilay
I am a bilingual Turkish and English speaker with an educational background in English Language Teaching and Psychology. My teaching approach is based on patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each student's goals and learning style.
In my lessons, I focus on practical language skills such as conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday communication. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes and practicing without pressure.
A typical lesson includes a short conversation practice, introduction of new vocabulary or grammar topics, guided exercises, and activities based on the student's interests and needs. I like to use real-life examples to make lessons more engaging and useful.
As a bilingual Turkish and English speaker with an English teaching background and a Psychology education, I understand the challenges of learning a second language. I can help students improve their confidence while providing a supportive and personalized learning experience.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, children, heritage speakers and anyone who wants to improve their English or Turkish skills.
