About Gabrielle

Hello! My name is Gabrielle, and I’m a dedicated and passionate English tutor who specializes in helping French-speaking students from kindergarten to high school gain confidence and improve their reading and writing skills in English. With years of experience supporting bilingual learners, I understand the challenges of learning a second or third language—and how to overcome them. My approach is patient, encouraging, and always adapted to the individual needs of each student. About the lesson

As a bilingual tutor with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by French-speaking students learning English, I tailor each lesson to meet the unique needs of every learner. Whether your child is just starting out in elementary school or preparing for high school exams, I offer engaging, supportive, and structured lessons designed to build confidence and fluency in both reading and writing.

My teaching methodology is centered on patience, encouragement, and personalization. I use a mix of phonics, vocabulary-building games, reading comprehension exercises, grammar support, and creative writing prompts. I adapt each session based on the student's level, pace, and learning style—whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic.

A typical lesson includes a short warm-up (such as word review or sentence correction), a focused reading or writing activity, and a wrap-up exercise to reinforce what we’ve learned. I integrate themes and content that interest the student to keep motivation high and progress consistent.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with French-speaking children who may feel unsure or frustrated with English.
