About Lavinia
Hi! I am a recent IB Diploma graduate with an international background, having lived in three different countries and attended both Italian-speaking and English-speaking schools. Growing up between languages and cultures has given me a strong understanding of communication, adaptability, and the challenges that language learners often face.
I am a dedicated student with a passion for learning and helping others succeed. Through years of babysitting, volunteering, and working with children, I have developed patience, responsibility, and the ability to connect with people of different ages and backgrounds. I believe learning should be a positive and encouraging experience, and I strive to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.

My lessons are designed to help students use Italian confidently in real-life situations. Rather than focusing only on memorization, I emphasize conversation, practical vocabulary, pronunciation, and natural expressions used by native speakers.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, whether they are learning Italian for travel, school, work, or personal interest. I adapt my teaching methods to different learning styles and enjoy using creative, engaging activities that make lessons interactive and enjoyable. My aim is to build confidence step by step, helping students develop both their speaking skills and their understanding of the language in a relaxed and supportive environment.
