About Mingyi

I am a native Mandarin speaker who has lived in Australia for many years, with strong bilingual communication skills in both Chinese and English. I understand the challenges that beginners face when learning a new language, and I focus on making Mandarin clear, practical, and approachable for students of all ages. My background in accounting and university-level study has given me solid analytical and teaching skills, which I apply to explain grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary in a simple, structured way. I have experience working with both adults and children, and I enjoy helping students build confidence step by step. Whether you want to learn conversational Mandarin, need support with schoolwork, or hope to strengthen your foundation in the language, I provide patient, personalized guidance tailored to your goals. I believe that learning should be comfortable, encouraging, and well-paced—and I am committed to helping every student make steady progress. I am currently available for online lessons and happy to take on new students.

My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where you can progress steadily without pressure. Lessons are available online, with flexible scheduling to suit your availability.
