About Tian
Originally from China, fluent in both Mandarin and English. As a parent and language learner myself, I understand how important it is for children to feel safe, encouraged, and truly understood when learning a new language. I teach with patience, cultural insight, and care, creating a calm and positive space where students gain confidence and enjoy steady progress. Whether you’re looking for Chinese lessons rooted in authentic language use, or English support tailored to young learners, I offer personalized sessions that adapt to each child’s pace and needs. My goal is to make every student feel seen, capable, and proud of their growth.

I’m a bilingual mom who truly understands how children learn—through warmth, patience, and encouragement. I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where kids feel safe to make mistakes, try new things, and grow their confidence step by step. Because I speak both Mandarin and English fluently, I can explain difficult concepts clearly in the language they’re most comfortable with, and help them connect the two languages naturally. I bring not only language skills but also cultural understanding, so children don’t just learn words—they learn how to express themselves in real life.
