I have a solid academic background in music, with advanced studies in my main instrument and in music theory.
I am fluent in two main languages, allowing me to teach in both my native language and the additional language of English with ease and accuracy.
I have gained practical experience both as a performer in professional settings and as an educator in academic and community settings.
Teaching focus:
Linguistic adaptation: I use pedagogical techniques that facilitate musical learning in different languages, ensuring that theoretical and practical concepts are clear and accessible to all students, regardless of their native language.
Culturally Responsive: I recognize the importance of integrating cultural and linguistic aspects into my teaching, celebrating musical diversity and promoting an inclusive environment where all students feel valued and represented.
Educational Personalization: Adapt my teaching methods to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student, promoting meaningful and sustainable learning in both languages.
Resource Integration: Use multilingual resources, such as sheet music, study materials, and online resources, to enrich the educational experience and facilitate comprehensive and equitable learning.
What sets me apart:
My ability to teach in two different languages expands educational opportunities for students seeking to learn music in their preferred language or in a bilingual environment.
My culturally sensitive approach and commitment to inclusion ensure that all students, regardless of their linguistic background, feel welcome and supported in their musical journey.
The combination of my passion for music, my language skills, and my dedication to teaching creates a nurturing environment where students not only develop musical skills, but also grow personally in a globalized and diverse context.
