About Mathilde
My name is Mathilde, I am French and I did my higher education at the University College of Utrecht where I obtained a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I currently work in a company where English is the official language. I give English conversation lessons to help you feel more comfortable in this language. Many people have a good foundation but don't want to jump in and practice for fear of looking silly or just not being able to. I am not there to correct an accent or to acquire perfect grammar but to help to use and enrich everyone's knowledge in oral expression. I am there to reassure and show my students that they have the power to progress and learn from their mistakes.

I did 3 years of studies in an entirely English-speaking context and I currently work in a company where English is the official language. I am French but the language I speak on a daily basis is English. My classes are aimed at people who already have some knowledge of English: college/high school and higher education, and who want to be more comfortable in conversation and practice their English. I adapt to the needs of each of my students according to the type of vocabulary they lack, the turns of phrase and expressions, the types of conversation he/she wants to work on. For example, these can be simple day-to-day conversations or interview-type conversations for universities. I also help with the preparation of the TOEFL having myself had to take this exam several times. At the end of each lesson I summarize with the student the points to be reworked and I give resources/advice to work on these points.
