About Dom
I am a qualified teacher with a Master degree in teaching English as a foreign language. I have also earned Master degrees in Psychology as well as in Business. We love in making interpersonal communication in a foreign language enjoyable is what brought me to the ESL classroom. I am bilingual - I was born in Poland but grew up in the USA - therefore my sensitivity to nuances of producing a foreign sound is greater and I am able to help my students improve their pronunciation.We have fun and laugh a lot in my classes even when learning grammar - which is taught via conversation. I have been teaching ESL for many years now. I have experience in providing group as well as individual classes for adult learners at all levels from beginner to advanced. I have helped numerous students in overcoming their fear of speaking in English, we worked on business presentations and exam prep (CAE,IELTS or even nursing boards in the USA). Students in my classes work in their pronunciation, accent as well as listening and reading skills. We use authentic materials and talk about current events. My classes last 60 min.
