About Guglielmo Maria

I am an Italian musician and BIMM BA Music graduate with extensive experience in live performance, musical theatre, and teaching. I have performed nationally and internationally, including leading roles such as Oliver Twist in the UK tour of Twisted! the Musical, and gigs with my band SWYM and Sofar Sounds. Proficient in guitar and voice, I bring both practical performance skills and strong musical knowledge to every lesson. Passionate about inspiring students, I focus on building confidence, creativity, and technique, helping learners explore their musical potential, express themselves, and enjoy music in a fun and supportive environment.

About the lesson

Firstly, I will get to know the student, their musical interests, and goals; For Vocals: - Breathing and relaxation exercises - Exploring and understanding your unique voice - Working on scales and vocal techniques (with piano accompaniment) - In-depth focus on a song in the desired genre - Extra attention to performance skills: interpretation, intention, and acting through the song For Guitar: - Work on scales, including minor pentatonic, and basic to advanced chords - Learn music theory and develop understanding of the instrument - Focus on the student’s preferred genres - Learn songs, riffs, and practical techniques for performance
