About Georgina
I am a teacher with 10 years teaching experience in both private and comprehensive schools. I am currently head of science with a specialism in chemistry at A level, having also been head of chemistry for the first 5 years of my teaching career. Pupils in my classes have achieved the top grades at GCSE and secured university places at Oxbridge and Russel group universities for medicine, dentistry and science based courses.
I motivate and push my students to not only achieve the best grades possible but to develop a passion for both chemistry and biology. I continuously teach and assess my pupils to ensure they definitely know how to answer exam questions and achieve the desired grade ready for A level or University.

I have taught and tutored pupils from age 11 to 18 but specialise in GCSE and A level chemistry. My lessons involve a cycle of teaching and assessing over and over with a variety of resources and thousands of exam questions. The sessions may be in person or online and involve a lot of two way conversation where a good relationship is important. Typical sessions range from 1 to 2 hours depending on what the student wants or needs at the time. I will often go back to the previous session content to check the content is still secure before moving on and working on new content whilst continuously checking the theory has been learnt AND applied with either quickfire or longer answer questions.
