About Ekene

Hello! I have a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Biology and Psychology from the University of Michigan. Since high school, I have tutored through all age levels up to college for a wide range of subjects. At this time I'm in medical school but still enjoy taking a few hours a week to tutor and teach when I can. At University of Michigan, I have been a TA for Organic Chemistry and a variety of Psychology courses. But don't get too caught up in these, I also tutor a lot of high school and elementary age kids in most subjects including Trigonometry, Geometry, Algebra, with reading being my specialty for the elementary age.

About the lesson

A TA is a kind of guided instruction supervisor who helps to facilitate group learning for the subject away from class time. I've been a TA for many subjects, including Macroeconomics, Social and Abnormal Psychology, and Organic Chemistry. I like tutoring and teaching because it's very dynamic. I enjoy seeing the student's perspective and how they approach the material vs more optimal methods of approach. True comprehension of the material is always the focus as opposed to memorization. I specialize in: Anatomy and Physiology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Algebra and Geometry, Elementary education - especially math and reading Papers - editing for vocab, grammar, structure, content If interested feel free to message me at any time!
