About Kelsi renee

I am a sophomore in college majoring in Biochemistry. I have taken and passed AP Chemistry, Gen Chem 1, and Gen Chem 2. I have a strong passion for chemistry and I am able to break the subject down to make it easier for someone to learn. I have experience tutoring in chemistry as I was President of Phi Beta Chi, which is a science club focused on tutoring. I am confident I will be able to help you learn and feel comfortable approaching chemistry.

About the lesson

My teaching style is structured but flexible:
-Step-by-step explanations: I simplify complex concepts into manageable parts
-Concept before memorization: I make sure students understand ideas first
-Practice-based learning: We work through problems together until it clicks
-Visual learning: Diagrams and simple explanations for topics like atoms and reactions
-Real-life connections: Relating chemistry to everyday things (food, cleaning products, etc.)
-Active questioning: I ask questions to check understanding and keep students engaged
