About Ryan
Hi! My name is Ryan and I am a science teacher at Wittayanukulnaree high school in Thailand. I hold a degree in biological sciences from the University of Edinburgh with a specialisation in Ecology. I have a passion for all things biology however my specialist areas are: Ecology, Zoology and Evolutionary Biology. I have a strong grasp of biological disciplines across the board including cellular and molecular biology, reproduction, genetics and statistical analysis (However I have also dipped my toes into environmental science and sustainability studies).
My skills are best suited to a high school student studying biology or chemistry, however I can also help with intermediate level mathematics or English as a foreign language.

Science has gained a reputation for being a boring subject, however this is far from the truth; I aim to keep lessons relevant and engaging by including interesting and exciting content generally glossed over in textbooks. I do this as I believe the best way for a student to learn is to discover things for themselves and to conjure an eager desire to find out more.
As an online tutor my aim is to supplement learning from other avenues, whether it be school, university or just a general interest. I believe the best way to do this is to know in advance what the student would like to cover and prepare relevant and engaging lessons according to this. This approach has previously worked well on a weekly basis or simply one off lessons to explain concepts or answer questions.
I am more than happy to meet and discuss potential tutoring before making any final decisions
