About Selin
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences and have 6 years of teaching experience. My interest in biology developed from a fascination with nature, living organisms, and the complexity of life processes. Teaching allows me to share that enthusiasm with students.
My approach focuses on clarity, encouragement, and adaptability. I enjoy helping students work through challenges and develop confidence in their understanding. Lessons are structured to create a positive learning experience where progress feels achievable.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about environmental science, genetics, and medical discoveries. These interests help me bring fresh examples into my lessons. Helping students develop both knowledge and curiosity is what motivates me most as a biology tutor.

My biology lessons help students understand the fascinating processes that support life. We study cell biology, genetics, ecology, physiology, and evolution through clear explanations and relatable examples. I focus on helping learners connect concepts so they can build lasting understanding.
Lessons are designed around the student's current level and objectives. Beginners develop strong foundations in key biological principles, while advanced learners strengthen analytical skills and scientific interpretation. Diagrams, discussions, and practice activities are used to reinforce learning.
I believe biology becomes more engaging when students recognise its relevance to the world around them. My lessons encourage curiosity, observation, and critical thinking in a supportive environment. The goal is to help learners feel confident and motivated in their scientific studies.
