About Serena
I’m a Biology tutor with over 7 years of experience and a MSc in Systems Biology. My teaching centers on a holistic and interdisciplinary approach, especially within the fascinating field of evolutionary biology. I guide students through key concepts like natural selection, adaptation, speciation, and the deep history of life on Earth. Evolution isn't just a topic—it's a story, and I help students see how every chapter connects. I use fossil records, comparative anatomy, and genetic data to show the evidence behind biological change over time. These tools help learners understand how traits develop, how species diverge, and why biodiversity exists in the first place. My sessions often draw connections between biology and fields like anthropology, paleontology, and genetics.
