Hi! I know how frustrating it can be when a subject just isn’t clicking, I’ve been there too. That’s why I approach tutoring with patience, encouragement, and a genuine goal to help you understand the why behind what you’re learning, not just the answers. With a background in biology, experience in research, and a strong foundation in science and math, I’ve helped students at all levels feel more confident and capable in class. I focus on creating a comfortable, low-pressure environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and actually enjoy the process of learning. I take what I do seriously and I show up prepared, on time, and fully invested in your growth. Whether you're prepping for an exam or just need help staying on track, I'm here to support you every step of the way.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I take a student-centered and supportive approach that adapts to each learner’s unique strengths, pace, and goals. I start by identifying the student’s foundational understanding, then build step-by-step using clear explanations, real-world examples, and active practice. Whether it's biology, chemistry, or algebra, I make complex topics simple, relatable, and engaging. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by a focused lesson on a new topic using visuals or guided problems. We wrap up with practice questions and time for Q&A to ensure understanding. I also help students build good study habits and confidence in their academic journey.
What sets me apart is my background in biology research, healthcare, and peer mentoring. I know what it’s like to struggle with a subject and turn it around and with that, I bring patience, empathy, and encouragement to every session. My lessons are perfect for middle school, high school, or early college students in biology, chemistry, algebra, or physics, especially those preparing for exams or who need extra support in science and math.
