About Aulia Rafika
Hello! My name is Aulia Rafika Sari, a Biology graduate with solid academic training and hands-on experience in research, teaching, and science communication. I completed my degree in Biology at the University of Jember with a strong academic record (GPA 3.67/4.00). During my studies, I worked as a teaching assistant in laboratory classes and completed an internship at the Indonesian National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), where I gained expertise in specimen collection, species identification, and DNA extraction. In addition to my background in Biology, I also have experience as a private Mathematics tutor, where I helped students strengthen their understanding of key concepts, improve problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in exams. I am enthusiastic about teaching Mathematics again, tailoring my lessons to suit each student’s needs and pace. These combined experiences not only strengthened my knowledge in science and mathematics but also trained me to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. I have also been active in student organizations, managing public communication and social media, which further developed my ability to explain ideas in a simple, engaging way. As a tutor, I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore their curiosity. With me, you will not only learn Biology and Mathematics but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will benefit your academic and personal growth.

I combine concept-based learning with real-life applications to make Biology engaging and easy to understand. I use visuals, case studies, and project-based tasks to connect theory with practice. I also encourage students to ask questions and develop critical thinking, so they don’t just memorize but really understand. A Typical Lesson Plan - Warm-up (5–10 min): Quick review of previous lesson / Q&A. - Concept Introduction (15–20 min): Explanation with examples, diagrams, or interactive discussion. - Practice / Application (15–25 min): Exercises, case studies, or problem-solving related to the topic. - Wrap-up (5–10 min): Summary + key takeaways + homework/research task if needed.
