About Ieuan
Hi! I’m a friendly and patient tutor offering support in Biology and Statistics for GCSE and A-level students. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, with published research and a professional background in data analysis. I’m currently conducting research into how artificial intelligence can improve health outcomes. While my career is moving towards technology, my passion for biology and statistics remains strong. Epidemiology draws on both biology and statistics to understand patterns of disease in populations. I also apply statistical methods in my work as a data analyst, giving me a practical perspective that helps make these topics feel relevant and accessible to students. I genuinely enjoy helping others learn—especially when it comes to subjects I care about. I’m a people person at heart, and I find it rewarding to break down complex ideas in a way that clicks for someone else. Tutoring is a great way for me to stay connected to the subjects I love while supporting students on their own learning journey.

I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenging topics. My teaching style is adaptable—I tailor each session to suit the student’s learning style, whether they prefer visual aids, step-by-step breakdowns, or active problem-solving. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on the student's needs and attention span. I use a mix of practice questions, guided explanations, and discussion to help students build understanding and confidence over time. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, with experience in both research and data analysis. My background helps me explain complex ideas clearly and make learning relevant and engaging. I offer tutoring in Biology and Statistics for GCSE and A-level students, and I’m happy to support learners of all abilities—whether you're preparing for exams or aiming to write a standout essay.
