About Chaitanya
As a student myself, I understand the struggles of attending a class or lecture, and not understanding anything from teachers or professor. This is normal for everyone. With more than a year of tutoring experience, I have had the privilege of teaching college freshmen, sophomores, EOP students and student athletes. I make sure to always focus on the student first--something college professors in large settings do not prioritize. I hope to provide my teaching and studying techniques to many students who need a more personalized study plan--to overcome the same struggles I have gone through as a student!

As a teaching assistant at Stony Brook University for chemistry classes, I have learned that students learn the best through problem solving. My typical lesson plan will include teaching a subject, with a strong emphasis on asking my students questions related to the topic as we move throughout the subject. This will enable me to know if my students understand or need more help with certain topics. My lessons will typically be for college students and also students who need help with the biology portion of the MCAT. What sets me apart from other tutors is my willingness to help students. I am also extremely patient with the students who I have taught, many who appreciate my help to this day.
