About Dr Md Gulam
I have completed my PhD in Biotechnology. I am a dedicated and professionally trained Biology tutor with a strong academic foundation in life sciences and hands-on teaching experience. I approach every class with thorough preparation, clear objectives, and a structured teaching plan, ensuring that students receive accurate, up-to-date, and curriculum-aligned instruction. My teaching emphasises conceptual clarity, logical thinking, and exam readiness, helping students feel confident in their understanding of biology.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred and concept-based, focusing on building a strong foundation in biology rather than rote memorisation. I begin each topic by explaining the basic concepts in a simple and logical manner, followed by diagrams, real-life examples, and clinical or practical correlations wherever applicable. I regularly assess students’ understanding through interactive questioning, short quizzes, and problem-solving sessions, ensuring clarity before moving to advanced topics. I also provide exam-oriented guidance, including important questions, MCQ practice, and revision strategies.

I have a strong academic background in Biology/Life Sciences with experience in university students, as well as guiding students for thesis. My experience in biological sciences allows me to explain topics with scientific accuracy and clarity, helping students gain both conceptual understanding and exam confidence.
