About Saheli
My interest in biology began with a fascination for the intricacy of living systems, from molecules to ecosystems. I earned a B.Sc in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, studying genetics, cellular function, physiology, and environmental biology. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students at all levels, helping them turn abstract concepts into practical understanding and analytical confidence. I prioritize clarity, patience, and adaptability. Lessons are structured to identify knowledge gaps, strengthen foundational understanding, and encourage active participation. I emphasize conceptual reasoning, problem-solving, and curiosity-driven exploration, ensuring students build both confidence and competence. Beyond the classroom, I stay engaged with molecular research, ecological studies, and laboratory experimentation. This allows me to integrate contemporary science into lessons, making them relevant and inspiring. Teaching biology is deeply rewarding because I see students develop curiosity, confidence, and analytical skills that will serve them academically and personally. Supporting learners in mastering complex concepts and fostering independent scientific thinking is central to my teaching philosophy.
