About Alba
My fascination with biology began with a deep curiosity about how living systems function, from the cellular level to entire ecosystems. This interest led me to earn a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, where I developed a strong foundation in physiology, genetics, ecology, and experimental methods. Over the past 7 years, I have taught students of various ages and abilities, focusing on making complex biological concepts approachable, relatable, and exciting.
I use a patient, structured, and adaptive teaching style. Beginners receive clear explanations, visual aids, and guided exercises. Intermediate learners develop analytical skills, connecting theory with experiments and observations. Advanced students explore research methods, data interpretation, and applied science projects, gaining deeper insight into scientific inquiry. Lessons emphasize independent thinking, curiosity, and practical application, helping students engage confidently with challenging topics.
Beyond teaching, I actively stay updated with new research, technological advancements, and educational methods in biology. I incorporate contemporary case studies, environmental examples, and interactive exercises to make lessons meaningful and engaging. Watching students progress from confusion to mastery, confidence, and genuine enthusiasm is profoundly rewarding. My ultimate aim is to cultivate students who not only understand biology but also develop curiosity, critical thinking, and appreciation for the natural world.
