About Marlene
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and hold an MSc in Biology. My passion lies in helping students unlock the deeper layers of advanced biological sciences. Over the years, I have worked with countless learners to make complex topics clear and engaging. A major focus of my teaching is immunology and autoimmune diseases. My teaching approach in Biology is focused, structured, and result-driven. I guide students from schools and universities to master both concepts and application. I cover subjects like Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Botany, Zoology, and Geology. For AP Biology, I provide special training in experimental design, data interpretation, and free-response question strategies. Targeted drills and timed practice tests are central to my methodology. They help students identify weak areas and improve steadily. I believe practice with real exam-style questions is the best way to build confidence. I also support students in strengthening their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Clear explanations, step-by-step breakdowns, and visual aids make complex topics easier to understand. My sessions focus on making Biology not just a subject, but an exciting way to explore life sciences. Along with Biology, I connect knowledge to areas like clean energy and materials science, making learning meaningful and practical. This interdisciplinary approach inspires curiosity and helps students see the real-world value of what they study. My goal is to prepare every student thoroughly for exams while boosting their self-confidence.
