About Maria
I studied Biomedical Engineering and graduated with First Class Honours. I have gained experience by delivering 1-1 tuition to undergraduate students and children. Spanish is my native language. I'm very good at maths and as for Spanish, I can help you improve your grammar, vocabulary and fluency skills.

My teaching methodology is based on assessing your strengths and weaknesses in order to build upon the knowledge you already have whilst filling the gaps. I emphasise the importance of understanding the content so that you can develop intuition, which makes it easier to handle unfamiliar questions.
Prior to any academic tutoring, I discuss with the student their needs and preferences in order to design the most suitable approach for the lessons.
As for Spanish, I like to have dynamic lessons which work on enhancing your vocabulary, listening, and comprehension through fun activities.
