About Christopher
Hello! I'm a Biomedical Engineering graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with several years of experience tutoring Calculus I, II, and III at the university level. I enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and adapting my teaching style to each individual's learning needs.
Whether you're preparing for an exam, working through challenging homework, or looking to strengthen your mathematical foundation, my goal is to help you truly understand the material rather than simply memorize procedures. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right guidance, patience, and practice.
I strive to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their problem-solving skills. Watching students gain confidence and become independent learners is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring, and I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.

My number 1 goal as a tutor is to achieve student understanding. Simply showing the student how a problem is done will not lead to understanding. It is important to build on what knowledge the student already has, make connections to other things the student has learned, and fill in the gaps in the student's knowledge until it is fully understood how a problem is done. Sometimes this can be a frustrating process but it takes some work to form those brain connections and learn something difficult!
