About Cheng Rui
Completed my undergraduate degree with the University of Western Australia in Biomedical Science and obtained a first-class honors in Biomedical Science with the University of Melbourne. I love science and connecting with people. Teaching gives me an opportunity to do both, instead of talking to my cell cultures all day long. It also allows me to earn extra on top of my scholarship so I can fund my travels.

While completing my PhD, I am also a teaching associate for Biochemistry Laboratory classes at Monash.
My approach to teaching is by answering questions about concepts students struggle to understand. - it helps me gauge their knowledge and provides me an opportunity to clarify doubts and strengthen their foundation. being a student myself, I find it hard sometimes to grasp complex concepts and will be able to provide tips in better learning outcomes.
