About Niranjana
Hello! My name is Niranjana, and I am currently studying Biomedical sciences at UCL. As someone who has gained a liking for science thanks to having amazing and passionate teachers, I would like to give back and help students achieve their goals, and improving their grades will allow them to be one step closer to those goals!
I have tutored my peers and have watched them improve in subjects such as science and psychology, all while helping them appreciate the joy of learning by making the process more relaxing and fun, rather than stressful.

I will aid students by guiding them through how to effectively answer exam questions to ensure maximum marks, which is an important skill to master as mark schemes for science are very strict and particular! Alongside this I will help them understand the content itself using the required textbooks, my own notes, and by showing them useful revision strategies, such as active recall.
My tutoring sessions are aimed towards GCSE students, but I can teach all levels of secondary school students in science. A session can be 1-2 hours depending on how long the student wants the session to last.
In terms of previous tutoring experiences, In sixth form I was a student mentor for year 11 students, where I taught them techniques on how to answer exam questions effectively in GCSE Science papers, especially biology. In year 13 I was chosen to be a student tutor for psychology, where I would tutor a small group of my classmates on topics they did not understand for 2 hours per week.
