About Selina

I am studying Biomedical Science at the University of Surrey and achieved A's in Biology and Chemistry. I have done some private tutoring at home and work regularly with children in my part time job as a climbing instructor.

About the lesson

I offer tuition in the Sciences and Mathematics at GCSE level and Biology and Chemistry tuition at A Level. A typical lesson would start with a quick recap on what we covered last, and a random mix of practice questions as a warm up. As I check your answers I'll ask you what you feel like you struggle with most and cover all these topics one by one through PowerPoints, making plasticine diagrams and drawings, Kahoots, and practice questions. If you wish to simply practice everything, I will provide a mixture of easier to challenging questions. Throughout the lesson I'll make note of any topics you have difficulty with and address them, and if you seem to find the practice questions too easy, I can always provide more challenging ones! At the end, we'll finish with me setting you a cool, funny task related to what we covered for you to do until the next lesson. After every lesson I'll make sure you are comfortable and fully understand that topic before moving on.
