**About Me**

Hi, I'm Ashlyn — a Biomedical Science Honors student at the University of Ottawa with a genuine passion for chemistry and helping others understand it. I've spent years diving deep into chemistry, biology, and lab sciences, and I love turning "I don't get it" into "oh, that actually makes sense now.

I build personalized lesson plans and adjust my approach to how each student learns best — because no two students need the same explanation. I'm patient by nature, easy to talk to, and genuinely invested in your progress, not just getting through a lesson.

About the lesson

As a Biomedical Science Honours student at the University of Ottawa, I've spent years mastering chemistry, biology, and math at a high level — and I actually enjoy breaking those concepts down until they click.
I'm not just book-smart, either. I've helped students build real academic confidence, not just pass a test — developing personalized lesson plans, tracking progress, and adjusting my approach to how you learn best. I’ve learned how to stay patient, calm, and genuinely present with people, even when things get stressful — which is exactly what you need from a tutor when a concept isn't clicking.
I show up prepared, I explain things more than one way if the first doesn't land, and I care about your progress, not just the hour on the clock.
