About Afia
I am a Biomedical sciences BSc. student and have been tutoring GCSE students in maths and sciences for the past 2 years, helping them achieve 8s and 9s. I have worked as a lab tech providing me with the experience of handling practicals professionally for both GCSE and A Level.

The content of my lessons include going through the syllabus, making sure that students understand the content with no gaps left in their knowledge, which is then applied to exam questions. Lessons begin with clearing up any misconceptions about the topics, and then building on their knowledge with exam questions. Exam technique is also plays a big role in exam success, so that will also be focused on during lessons.
