I like to work based on intuition and a knack for things, the same applies when I teach someone a new concept. It is not about memorizing or applying a concept to a problem but about deeply understanding the concept and developing an intuition and feel for the topic. Of course this comes naturally to some while it may take some time for others but I firmly believe if handled correctly each student has the said ability.
