About Michael
Teaching guitar is actually the most efficient way to maintain my own technical edge. After 13 years working on stage and in the studio, I find that breaking down BARRE CHORDS or electric technique keeps my playing sharp. I hold an MMus Music Performance from the Manhattan School of Music, which informs how I approach rhythm guitar and lead guitar.
My instruction covers everything from reading tabs to complex scales and modes. Do you have a specific goal for your playing?

Practicing guitar should not feel like an endless series of repetitive drills. You will find that playing music is quite simple when you connect theory to practical application.
With my background in performance, I prioritize a sound that you can hear immediately. We focus on real songs and tangible progress throughout our time together. I offer a free trial session to assess your current level and establish your foundations. My goal is to get you from your current starting point to the stage with confidence.
