About Laurel
Graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music with a BMus in Vocal Studies provided me with a rigorous foundation that I have refined over 13 years of active instruction. Singing is often mistaken for a purely emotional act, yet it requires a high degree of technical precision to remain healthy and sustainable for a lifetime.
I focus on building core mechanics including vibrato control, rhythm and phrasing, and a seamless transition between head and chest voice. My methodology emphasizes MIC TECHNIQUE and genre styling across pop, classical, and musical theater to ensure technical proficiency. I maintain a disciplined environment that prioritizes the structural integrity of your voice over shortcuts or temporary fixes. I look forward to working with you to build your confidence through structured practice.

Vocal range extension requires patience. I offer a free trial lesson to check range and goals before we begin full training. The work is demanding but the results are consistent.
