About Wanda
Admitting that I struggled with my own second language acquisition early on allows me to connect more deeply with the 411 students I have taught. My transition from the stage to full-time teaching involved refining my command of Spanish pronunciation, idioms and expressions, and advanced interview preparation. I prioritize reading comprehension and precise accent and intonation to ensure my students sound natural in professional settings. Balancing a performance career with academic rigor keeps my own language skills sharp and relevant for learners.
