About Alima

Are you a parent worried about the 11+ process, hoping your child would feel inspired and fall in love with learning whilst reaching their academic goals?

My name is Alima and I work with people like you to help my students do exactly that.

For nearly 10 years, I have been teaching in the classroom in the primary and prep sector and my proven track record has enabled me to support students with not only making progress with their academic goals, but also enjoy the process in fun and creative ways.

My passion for my area of expertise in the 11+ preparation for senior schools is what made me found my business - to support more students and parents.

About the lesson

Online group lessons (4-6 children)

The 11+ online book club lessons are an hour long each and are interactive. The aim of the Book club is to read as many classics before the 11+ exam as possible, so that children are exposed to new vocabulary.

There will be some guided reading where children (if they want to) take turns to read aloud and then answer questions throughout to develop their comprehension.

The children are asked to read chapters for homework before the next lesson and discuss the events and their understanding.
