About Annabelle

My name is Annabelle, 17 years old, and I'm currently finishing my A-levels (Matric year) as an online student in South Africa. I am very keen on going into education as either a teacher or a novelist; I'm very passionate about reading, writing and English as a subject. I have experience working with children and I love working with people in general. I have transferred between many schools, with the main reason being that I simply didn't enjoy it! School was always a very torturous thing for me and therefore I began to despise it. However, having started online school and the Cambridge curriculum, my love for learning has been rekindled. Therefore, I am passionate about making education fun again for those who have not been receiving the correct support with what they've been struggling with in school. I am confident that I can help you to better your English and writing skills and, in doing so, begin to enjoy it. I have received high grades for english and creative writing, with my most recent exam results for my IGCSEs being an A* for English literature and an A* for English language. I hope that you look into hiring me as your teacher and I look forward to communicating more.

About the lesson

I have been a student with the caps, IEB and mostly the Cambridge curriculum. I know what each of these boards expect from you and I'll help you to hone your English and language skills to meet these requirements. I prefer English but I am also able to speak Afrikaans. In a lesson with me, we will go over the work you are currently learning in school and I'll help explain whatever you may be struggling with. I can also help you to write and edit essays (fictional and non-fictional), go through past assignments with you and practice past papers, so that by exam time, you're well prepared. I am fully aware of how daunting school can be, especially with a subject you may be struggling with! I am adamant on teaching in a gentle manner and making education enjoyable (as it should be!). My lessons are aimed for students between grades 1 and 10 (ages 7-16).
