About Keir
My teaching approach is all about helping you feel comfortable and confident using English in your everyday life. I focus on natural conversation, the kind you’d use while shopping, chatting with a friend, ordering food, or asking for help while traveling. We’ll cover topics like casual speaking, talking about your daily routines, and expressing your thoughts clearly in real-life situations. I use relaxed, friendly lessons that feel more like real conversations than textbook drills. You’ll get to practice vocabulary and phrases that people actually use. We’ll listen to real English, speak a lot, and build your fluency step by step. I’m especially good at helping learners who want to speak smoothly and blend English into their personal routines. Whether you're learning for travel, everyday life, or just to connect with others, I’ll guide you with patience and encouragement. I’ll support you in becoming someone who speaks English naturally, not just correctly. Every lesson is tailored to your pace and interests. I’m an English tutor with over 7 years of experience and a Master’s degree in World Englishes and Global Communication. I specialize in teaching English as a second language through modern, real-world media—think TV shows, memes, celebrity interviews, and even online gaming communities. Language is alive, and I believe the best way to learn it is by diving into the places where it’s actually spoken.
My sessions are built around helping learners expand their vocabulary, understand current slang, and confidently navigate today’s fast-paced internet culture. Whether we’re decoding tweets, exploring trending YouTube clips, or discussing dialogue from Netflix series, every lesson is packed with useful, up-to-date language. I also bring in humor, pop culture, and interactive discussions to keep things fun and engaging.
I’ve had great success working with young adults, digital natives, and curious learners who want English to feel relevant and real. My students don’t just learn grammar—they learn how to use English in everyday conversations, online chats, and global interactions.
