About Philip

I’m Philip — a friendly, experienced math and test-prep tutor who helps students raise their scores through clear explanations and simple strategies. I’ve worked with students preparing for the SAT, ACT, and GED, and I understand how stressful these exams can feel. My job is to make the math side of the test feel predictable, manageable, and even enjoyable.

Students enjoy my tutoring style because I’m patient, extremely clear, and great at simplifying difficult problems. I explain not only how to solve questions, but also why certain strategies and shortcuts work. This helps students stay calm, think clearly during timed sections, and avoid common traps.

I’ve helped students boost their scores, qualify for scholarships, and get the confidence they need for test day. Whether you’re aiming for a high score or just need to pass comfortably, I’ll support you every step of the way.
