About Roger

Hi, I’m Roger, a customer service and sales professional from Ligao City, Albay, with 10 years of experience in the call center industry. I’ve worked with US, UK, Canadian, and Australian customers across banking and fraud, fintech, utilities, telecom, healthcare billing, and travel, handling thousands of calls, chats, and emails.

My recent work includes B2B cold calling, where I made 800 to 1,000 calls per shift and averaged 5 to 8 qualified transfers a day, as well as appointment setting and inbound sales. I’ve also worked as a subject matter expert and mentor, coaching new agents on process and performance. I’ve worked from home for six years, so I understand what it takes to succeed in remote roles.

I became a tutor because I enjoy helping people feel confident on the phone and in interviews. I’m patient, honest, and practical, and I’ll always give you clear feedback you can use right away.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Roger, a call center professional with 10 years of experience handling customers from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia across customer service, sales, and cold calling. I’ve also coached new agents as a subject matter expert and mentor, so I know what trainers and recruiters look for.

My approach: I teach through real practice, not lectures. We use mock calls, role plays, and honest feedback so you learn to sound natural, listen well, and stay calm with difficult customers.

A typical lesson (60 minutes):

Quick warm-up and a review of your goals
A short skill focus, such as handling complaints, objections, or interview answers
A live mock call or mock interview
Specific feedback on your tone, pacing, and wording
A small practice task to do before our next session

What sets me apart: I’ve worked in support, sales, fraud and disputes, and billing, so I can prepare you for different accounts, not just one type.

Who it’s for: fresh graduates, career shifters, and new or current agents preparing for interviews, assessments, or a better role. All levels are welcome. I don’t promise a job, but I’ll help you prepare with confidence.

I’ve known Roger for almost 10 years. We were colleagues when I worked in the BPO industry, and I’ve seen how he works and how strong his work ethic is. He always makes sure that all tasks are completed, and he is one of the most trustworthy people I know. Even when no one is watching, he makes sure he does his job well and follows the company’s rules and guidelines.

I know his future students will learn a lot from him, not just academic skills but also valuable life skills they can carry with them throughout their lives.
