About Flavia
Hello! I'm a native Brazilian with a passion for languages and over 5 years of experience living in Canada. My own experience as a language learner has given me a deep understanding of how to make the process fun, engaging, and effective. I taught myself Spanish, so I know firsthand the challenges and rewards of mastering a new language.
My lessons go beyond textbooks – I believe in immersing my students in real-world language use, helping you speak confidently in everyday situations.

My teaching approach is highly interactive, practical, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on real-life applications of the language, encouraging active conversation from the very first lesson. I combine immersive learning with structured grammar explanations, and integrate multimedia tools such as videos, podcasts, and articles to make lessons engaging and diverse. I also emphasize the cultural aspects of the Portuguese language, helping students not only speak but also understand the context in which the language is used.
