During sessions, I feel like I am studying the materials as well as practicing the test format (MCQs and FRQs), but without the individual lonely studying vibes that ultimately make studying very boring and sometimes ineffective for me. About the lesson

I love teaching students who want to learn more about history and its relationship to current events. In particular, I enjoy teaching European History at the AP level as well as World History and Art History. I have taught AP for the last 20 years, and my students have a pass rate of 90%. Aside from content, the details of the material, I excel at helping students learn how to write DBQs and LEQs, which will help earn them the coveted 5 on the exam. Whether you are taking a class in school or self-studying, I can help you with specific topics and techniques to succeed on multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, or writing the DBQs and LEQs. I have been a grader at the AP reading for European History, and the knowledge I have gained from these experiences has given me insight into helping my students. I have a PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Russian History and a European and Art History degree from Rutgers University. I can also help with organization and study skills, creating calendars to manage your work, and helping create study guides.
