About Haaniya

I really enjoy teaching and it helps me to go over what I’ve learned during my years of schooling.
I’m new to Dubai and I’m excited to get involved in the school system here. I would love to give perspective and insight into the exams and teaching styles that may differ.
I enjoy interacting & seeing the moment of understanding that students experience after studying a difficult concept.
I have a great understanding of the British curriculum and of the university/A-Level process.
I’m in my mid twenties and live in Dubai at the moment! I hope to meet and help some of you out:)

About the lesson

I believe in having a good base understanding of concepts and that practice makes perfect. Often the only thing holding us back is a weak foundation, once you go back and solidify this, you will pick up concepts a lot faster.

There are two approaches we can take, depending on your situation. I am happy to go through the syllabus with you as you learn in school and help to make your understanding strong; so that you can recall this information better. This is helpful when revising as I can also help you make tailored revision booklets.

Alternatively if you need last minute revision on topics that you’re unsure of, we can do mini crash courses to ensure you’re on track and prepped for the topics you most need help with.
This can be individually tailored.

Typically my lessons last between an hour to an hour and a half, to your preference.

I have a total of 5 years experience as a tutor, this began during my A levels and throughout my time at university. I have tutored mainly in Psychology (A Level), Biology (GCSE & A Level) and English (GCSE).
I have sat Pearson Edexcel Biology GCSE and AQA A Level Biology, ensuring a firsthand familiarity of the British curriculum and multiple different exam boards. I specialise in tutoring for Biology and A Level Psychology.
In regards to English GCSE, I’m a British graduate and have lived in the UK my entire life, I have a native understanding of the language, have been tutoring for 5 years for GCSE English and know the curriculum well.

I lived and studied my whole life in the UK so I have the full experience of the schooling system and a very thorough understanding of the exams and what is asked of you.
