About Hugo
My name is Hugo, I am 19 years old, and I am entering my second year of maths and physics studies in Durham (3rd best British university). I speak both English and French (but don't worry, I still support France in football) !! I'm more of an extrovert, trying as much as possible to play sports or play a musical instrument on campus.
I'm not a graduate teacher, yes, but on the other hand I am a student full of energy, with a real passion for maths. To my enthusiasm alone, I think I could make the whole world love math!

Math is all about perspective. I don't want to teach math like a teacher, with a rigid, impersonal point of view. Instead, I try to adapt to the student, to find the angle best suited not only to make him understand math, but to also make him love equations!
My way of teaching is simple, I first observe what the pupil understands, and then complete where he understands less. It is important for me to understand the way of thinking of the student in order to be able to accompany him, rather than impose my perspective on him.
Having grown up in London, I am perfectly bilingual, able to teach maths in English as well as in French. I can thus use English teaching methods if necessary, often more practical and pragmatic to solve problems. I am targeting middle school or high school students.
