About Vrisha

I am Vrisha Shah, I have done my DELF-DALF C1 level from Alliance Française de Bombay and cleared the exam for the same. Having completed my bachelor's in French studies, I hold a good knowledge of French literature and culture. A person who loves to interact is always a good option for learning a language as without interaction, one can't learn the language.

About the lesson

Perfect! I want to be super honest here when I was on a quest for looking a tutor I genuinely compared a couple of them as almost everyone was offering a free first session so I did my research and I am really glad that I chose Ms Vrisha to be my tutor. Her methods and techniques are not only remarkable but kind of easy to go. Well, that's what it takes when you decide to learn a foreign language. I must say it's not always easy learning a new language but the one that possibly makes it easy to understand well boy that's where is a win. Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
Being in India, I was always fond of the multilingualism and wanted to learn new languages. French was an option for me in school. So, I opted it then and loved the language and decided to continue.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
My tuition teacher was excellent in French and I loved the way she spoke in french with the perfect pronunciations and that is why I got motivated to learn more of speaking and writing and which led me to teaching other students this beautiful language.
How does your work help society?
With the language, I also teach about the French culture, and some comparisons of it with the Indian culture, which helps the students understand how the world works.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
As I mentioned before, my tuition teacher and two of my teachers at Alliance Française de Bombay, looking at them speak so fluently, I was inspired and pushed myself to work hard towards the language.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I like to dance and spend time with my family. I think dance really helps me to relax myself after a stressful day.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
So, I failed my first exam of french in school and l didn't study french for the rest of the year. But then I took classes from a different teacher and since then, I just couldn't stop learning french until today.
