About Musa

I am a friendly, approachable and dedicated Cardiac Physiology graduate with a strong interest in helping students develop their confidence and understanding of cardiovascular science. Having recently completed my BSc in Cardiac Physiology at St George’s University of London, I understand the challenges students can face when learning complex topics such as ECG interpretation and cardiac physiology. My clinical placement experience at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has allowed me to develop practical knowledge across a range of cardiac investigations. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely, work through difficult concepts at their own pace and build the confidence needed for exams and clinical placements.

About the lesson

I am a BSc Cardiac Physiology graduate offering clear, supportive and structured lessons in physiology, pathophysiology and ECG interpretation. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, using simple explanations, worked examples, visual learning and practice questions. Sessions typically last 60 minutes and are aimed at university and healthcare science students, including those studying Cardiac Physiology, nursing, paramedic science or related subjects. My clinical placement experience at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust has given me practical experience with ECGs, ambulatory monitoring, exercise testing, echocardiography and pacemaker follow-up clinics.

I met Musa during my placement when I was a first-year student, so I was quite nervous when I first started. Musa was incredibly supportive and helped me become more comfortable in the hospital environment by teaching me various ways to improve patient care. He also explained the different types of results that can be seen on an ECG in a clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand manner. His guidance helped me build my confidence and gain a better understanding of clinical practice.
