About Haj

Hi! I’m a friendly, patient and approachable tutor with a BSc in Health and Social Care. I’m happy to tutor students in Maths, English and French at KS2 and KS3 level.

I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand things they may initially find difficult, and I believe that every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement. I want to teach because I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence, overcome challenges and realise what they are capable of.

As a tutor, I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I’m happy to adapt my approach to suit each student’s individual needs.

My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them develop the confidence and motivation they need to become independent learners.

About the lesson

I provide personalised tutoring tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning goals.

My teaching approach focuses on making lessons clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I explain concepts step by step, use practical examples, ask questions to check understanding, and provide guided practice before allowing students to work independently. I also revisit previous topics regularly to reinforce knowledge and build long-term confidence.

Lessons are adapted to each learner’s pace and ability. Whether a student needs help understanding a difficult topic, improving their skills, preparing for an exam, or simply gaining more confidence, I aim to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although the length can be adjusted depending on the student’s age, level, attention span, and individual requirements.

I have experience supporting students with their learning and take a patient, encouraging, and professional approach to tutoring. I focus not only on improving academic performance but also on helping students become more confident and independent learners.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adult learners, from beginner to more advanced levels. I adapt the content, pace, and teaching style to suit each student, whether they are starting from the basics, working towards an exam, or looking to strengthen their existing knowledge.

My goal is simple: to make learning easier, build confidence, and help every student make steady progress.
