About Thobeka

Hi! I’m a BSc Life Sciences graduate with a strong passion for teaching and helping others succeed. Throughout my studies, I found that explaining complex topics in simple ways not only helped my classmates but sparked my interest in education. That’s when I realized that I love teaching just as much as I love learning. I’ve always believed that every student can do well in math and science with the right support, patience, and approach. My goal is to make these subjects less intimidating and more enjoyable by breaking down difficult concepts, encouraging curiosity, and building confidence. Whether you need help catching up, want to improve your grades, or prepare for exams, I’m here to guide you at your own pace. Let’s work together to reach your full potential!

About the lesson

As a BSc Life Sciences graduate, I combine strong academic knowledge with a practical, student-friendly teaching style. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, whether they’re struggling with the basics or preparing for high-level exams.

Here’s what to expect from my lessons:
• Customized Learning Plans: I assess each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals to create a personalized plan that works best for them.
• Real-Life Examples: I relate science and maths concepts to everyday life and real-world applications to make them easier to understand and remember.
• Interactive and Engaging Lessons: My sessions aren’t just about notes and formulas. I use diagrams, videos, mini-quizzes, and problem-solving exercises to keep things interactive and engaging.
• Exam and Test Prep: I focus on building confidence and strong exam techniques. I provide past papers, timed practice, and feedback to help students feel prepared and perform their best.
• Support Between Lessons: I’m available for quick questions and help outside of lesson time, so students never feel stuck.

Whether online or in person, I aim to create a friendly, pressure-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and truly learning.
