About Amala
Hi! I’m Amala, a Biomedical Science graduate with a strong background in the sciences and over 5 years of tutoring experience. Chemistry was a major part of my degree, so I know how to break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps. No one is “too dumb” to understand chemical formulas and structures! You just haven’t found the right explanation yet, and that’s what I’m here for. I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, using examples, visuals, and interactive practice to build understanding and confidence.

I help make Chemistry easy to understand by breaking tricky concepts into simple, manageable steps. I use visuals, real-life examples, and hands-on practice to make lessons engaging. I encourage questions and adapt my teaching to your learning style, whether you like solving problems, understanding the “why,” or memorizing key facts!
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
Warm-Up / Review: Quick recap of what we covered before.
New Topic: Step-by-step explanation with clear examples.
Guided Practice: Work together on problems and clear up any confusion.
Independent Practice: Assign short exercises to try on your own, which we’ll review next session.
Wrap-Up: Go over key points and answer any remaining questions.
NOTE: If I am coming to meet you, transportation fee is charged in addition as $5 for every 10km travelled.
