About Mehak
I’m Mehak, a Mathematics student and a passionate tutor with 5 years of teaching experience. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach students from different learning levels and understand that every student has their own pace and way of learning.
I enjoy teaching because I believe that knowledge becomes more meaningful when you share it with others. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is seeing a student go from “I don’t understand this” to “I can solve this on my own.”

With 5 years of teaching experience, I’ve learned that every student understands Maths differently. I believe Maths is not about memorising formulas or following steps blindly—it is about understanding why something works.
In my classes, I focus on building concepts from the basics and explaining the logic behind each step. I encourage students to ask “Why?” instead of simply learning “How?”. Once the concept is clear, solving questions becomes much easier and more natural.
My teaching approach includes:
Concept-first learning instead of rote memorisation
Simple, relatable explanations with everyday examples
Step-by-step problem solving
Regular practice to build confidence
Identifying and correcting exactly where a student gets stuck
Encouraging students to explain their own reasoning
Whether you are struggling with the basics, finding a particular chapter difficult, or simply want to become stronger in Maths, let’s work on it together.
