About Des
Hi! I’m a friendly and patient teacher from the Philippines. I’m a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate majoring in English, and I also have experience working in customer service, which has helped me become a better communicator and listener. I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them feel comfortable while learning. I’d love to help you learn Tagalog or improve your English in a relaxed, supportive, and enjoyable way.

I use a student-centered approach that focuses on practical speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday conversations. Each lesson starts with a short review, followed by a new topic or set of expressions. I then guide students through examples, pronunciation practice, questions, and conversation exercises before applying what they learned in a real-life situation. I adjust each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and pace, whether they are learning Tagalog or English.
